Sara & Beth Gifts and Home began in 2016 inside the Ness family’s pharmacy, where a small gift shop quickly grew into something much more. What was once a space for diabetic shoes was transformed into a charming boutique, with Beth leading the way and Sara helping after school by processing inventory, wrapping gifts, and learning the business from the ground up.

As the boutique flourished, so did the dream. After years of building the business together, Beth and Sara dedicated themselves fully to growing the boutique, moving to their first standalone location at the corner of King and Prince Streets in 2020. In January 2024, Sara & Beth Gifts found its current home on Front Street, where it continues to grow today.

Though Sara spent several years away at college, she never stepped away from the business. From working in the shop as a teenager to managing technology and behind-the-scenes operations throughout college, she has helped shape Sara & Beth Gifts every step of the way. In 2024, she returned to the boutique full-time, bringing fresh energy and creativity as she and Beth continue to grow the business together.

Today, Sara and Beth travel to market each season, hand-selecting distinctive gifts, jewelry, apparel, and home décor to bring back to Historic Georgetown. While styles and seasons may change, their mission remains the same: to serve others with excellence, create a welcoming shopping experience, and share the love of Christ through their words and actions.
